LJ Spambots

I swear, within the last week or two I've had more spam than the entire rest of the time I've been on LJ. Oddly enough, they've almost all been on one particular entry, from almost two years ago. Why that one?
I've turned captchas on for anonymous comments, but that doesn't seem to have stopped them. I don't really want to set my journal comments to LJ-account-holders-only, but when the other alternative is swatting at them like mosquitos...
