missroseroseI'm sitting here on the couch, bumming around on the Internet, while Brian bums around in Saints Row 3 (a GTA-style open-world sandbox game, for my non-gamer friends).
His phone, which is across the room charging, vibrates and goes "bing!" with his text message sound, so he leaves his character standing on the virtual sidewalk, sets the controller down on the coffee table, and goes to answer the message.
While he's tapping out a reply, his character's cell phone goes off, and his controller starts vibrating in almost exactly the same way as his phone did a moment earlier.
It seems like there should be some kind of lesson here, but all I can really do is crack up thinking about it...
