I am pleased to report that the effects of the endorphins appear not to be wearing off. Despite having little else change in my life of late, I've been in a far better mood generally since both keeping up on the M-F yoga routine and biking home from work three times a week.

Also? Today I managed to get all the way from work to the Circle K (the steepest part of the hill, and more than half a mile according to Google Maps) without stopping, and then, after a short break walking, pedal more than half of the rest of the way.

I'm almost concerned that soon I'm going to be able to head up said hill without breaking a sweat and have to go out of my way to find a bigger challenge...

Yes. I'm bragging. Just a little bit. You all will have to go out and outdo me and put me in my place. :D

Yesterday! I went up the hill! And down the hill! On the bike! *Three miles*! And I hardly got run over or pushed off the road at all!

Yay! Although I thought the whole reason to take your bike to work was that there were trails and such?

Yes, but I haven't taken the bike to work yet. Because going to work happens in the morning, when I have no brains.

Perhaps you can qualify to be put on the transplant list?

Mmm, fresh brains.

Bah. I believe in egalitarian exercising. Endorphins for all! :D

Wonder if you can extract endorphins from another's brain with a straw? I just finished my morning coffee so I have a bendy straw right here. Maybe it's like a potato, where you can poke the straw right through if you keep your thumb over the end....

...More clinical data is clearly required here.

I hereby volunteer your annoying coworker as a test subject. :D

While I'm sure his skull is swimming in endorphins borne of ignorance, I imagine it's also a slurry of casual racism and general disregard for others, neither of which is tasty. So no tasting, but might just go to town with the straw, provided I wash it afterwards.

Ok. New goal: outdo Rose.

My hair is cute today. Does that count for anything?

You should post a picture and then I will post a picture and we can have people vote on who's cuter. :)

I have a feeling that would go badly for my self-esteem, so, um, no.

:P

Aww, I'm sure your hair's just as cute as mine. Maybe we should just have people tell us how adorable we both are?

That's a better idea. :)
