Momentum vs. change

Interview went well. A little too well, perhaps - I got the distinct impression that the woman was looking for a Kia and I was trying to upsell her into a BMW (at a hell of a deal, I might add). She looked a bit intimidated, but did mention they'd be calling about a second interview likely tomorrow...I guess we'll see where that goes. The place seemed nice enough - tiny, but nice. I'm guessing a lot will depend on whether she decides she just wants someone to answer phones or if she wants someone who can make significant contributions to the efficient running of the office. You'd think it'd be a no-brainer, but there seem to be a surprising number of people out there who far prefer the comfort of routine to the (however slight) upset of improvement. That attitude always bugs me, but I can sort of see where they're coming from - there's a certain allure in knowing what to expect each day. Come to think of it, that explains a fair number of my former friends' relationships...
