Getting close

Not so long ago, this whole "getting married" idea was a comfortable six months or so away.

Invitations, cake decorations, hair appointments, honeymoon bookings, housesitting schedules, three rings and two sets of formal clothes later, there's only the ceremony itself left to arrange. It's all been happily low-stress, but even so, I'm suddenly being blindsided by the thought that we've got less than six weeks to go.

Not that I'm feeling like changing my mind or anything, just, damn...where'd the time go?

It'll be over, before you know it, and you'll have a ton of pictures of you in a state you'll never remember.

Or maybe that's a St. Patrick's Day party. Hrm. Either one. Just replace "white" with "green" and you're good.

See, you're doing quite well honestly. You're not going overboard and you're taking it all in stride. It'll be fine.
Also, will you be posting any photos here? I'd like to see the dress you picked :)

I will absolutely be posting photos. Brian and I were actually quite happy to find out that the photographer who did our one-year-together photos will also be doing our wedding - she's quite good. I'll be sure to link to the online photo gallery as well, not that I really think that many readers are going to want to order photos. :)
