Smooth as butter

I have finally found a brand of butter mints that are almost as much butter as they are mint.

This does not bode well for my long-term health.

(can't...resist...creamy...smoothness...)

Which details were you looking for? The slightly chalky feel as I pick one up? The sudden burst of sweetness as they hit my tongue, tempered by the smooth rich flavor as they slowly dissolve? The slight guilty dread as I realize exactly how many calories are in one small package? ;)

And here I thought I was being noble and sparing your waistline. :) Actually, they're a generic brand - you know those two-for-$1 candy packages you can get at drugstores? (I think the name is "Sathers" or something similar, but I seem to have cut off that part of the tag when I opened the package). Their butter mints are surprisingly delicious.
