At what point does something become more trouble than it's worth? Follow up: Do you just walk away when you reach that point, or do you want some sort of closure?
The first is such a subjective and variable question that I have trouble answering it. That point, wherever it may be, is dependent on so many individualistic and situational factors that I don't think you can define it objectively - saying something is "more trouble than it's worth" is simply declaring that you have reached that point.
Likewise, the second question brings up an interesting point - if you've declared something to be more trouble than it's worth, and yet continue pursuing it, then obviously it's not - the idea of closure, or whatever it is you're pursuing is worth the extra effort to you to continue along said course.
So to answer your questions more personally - it absolutely depends on the situation and the person involved; and I personally wouldn't define something as more trouble than it's worth unless I was ready to walk away.
Amazingly enough for having grown up in Alaska, I've actually never tried SPAM. As for what's in there...I figure the world is better off not knowing. Sort of like Buckley's Mixture. ;)
*laughs* Hey, corsets are awesome. I've been obsessed with them since I was a kid.
Unfortunately, I can't answer the question directly - so much depends on the person involved, their coloring and personality. Corsets are a very personal item of clothing - even those worn on the outside conform to the shape of their owner.
Hm. I've only owned a couple (one the sweetheart-style black satin number I'm wearing in that set of pictures, and one a wench-style black and red one rather like this one (http://www.castleblood.com/fashion/access/wenchc.jpg). I think I like the latter style better, although I've got my eye on a version of this one (http://www.scoundrelleskeep.com/sabine.htm) as well.
