...and that means, ladies and germs, that it's time she invented a new drink!
(Proportions are still a bit rough as my alcohol tolerance is not up to doing another of these to fine-tune just yet.)
ETA: Changing the cranberry/cognac ratio from 1.5/1.5 to 2/1. Makes it slightly less boozy-sweet but still leaves the flavors intact. Perfect.
Miata
2 parts cranberry juice
1 part cognac
1 part Grand Marnier
1/2 part amaretto
1 squeeze of lime juice
Shake first four ingredients with ice and strain into martini glass. Squeeze lime into drink and garnish with an orange or lime wheel before serving.
Discussion Questions:
Why is this drink called a Miata?
Can you think of any other reasons?
Which two well-known drinks combine to make this divine concoction?
How much fun is it to say "discussion questions" while drunk?

The theme stands.
I won't answer most of the rest of the questions, however while it might be fun to say "discussion questions" while drunk it's far more fun to say "hey, you want to come back to my place for a while?" Potentially at least.
