Civilization! Wireless civilization!

Currently I am sitting on a bench in Pike Place Park in Seattle, looking out over a gorgeous view of the Puget Sound (I think), on a lovely mostly-sunny day with all kinds of bird/people/flower/boat-watching opportunities...

...and I'm most excited about the fact that I can open up my laptop and see fifty different networks, including municipal Seattle wifi. From right here! In the park! That is SO COOL!!!

...I am such a geek.

OK, I ALMOST said something to you as your recent photo in your blog gave me a reminder...

... but I'm pretty sure I saw you and your significant other in PAX on Friday with a camera with a pretty big lens on it. And I almost came up to you and said something, but given how little I know you/converse with you on this thing, I thought it seemed waaaaaaay too random and freaky, so I opted nay.
