I don't cook much, as a rule. I can do it, and I like to think I'm pretty okay at it, but it's not my favorite activity. Brian loves to cook, so he ends up making most of the meals at home. Makes some pretty excellent stuff, too.
That said, occasionally I have tried my hand at making something semi-gourmet. And while it's usually turned out okay, it's never been up to par with what he makes.
Until last night, when I tried out this halibut recipe. It was amazingly good; even Brian couldn't think of anything he wanted to change. Seriously - if you like halibut at all, give this one a shot. None of the ingredients (aside from the fish) are super-expensive, and it's not hard to make at all.
So, yay! Nearly four years into the relationship, I finally manage to make something that met with unconditional approval. Go me! :)
