Thanks to some playing around with the formatting options of WordPress, I am proud to introduce my first fully illustrated post! So go have a look.

(And no, I'm totally not trawling for more hits on my other blog. Seriously. Despite how addicting it is looking at the nifty little graphs and charts and things move around as more people visit. =P)

Aw, poor Mr. Jerry Brown. He does not want.

And I kinda envy you, discovering the new Who. Quick guide: if Steven Moffat wrote it, it is made of Massive Win. Eccleston was, similarly, my first Doctor, but Tennant's easily my new favorite, thanks in large part to those two Moffat episodes, "Blink" (which is the episode I show people to get them hooked) and the absolutely -- if I can use the word -- fantastic "Girl in the Fireplace," which nails the Doctor's character and does things to you that you forget pop culture can do....

And I should really play Oblivion in earnest at some point. I still need to finish Evil Genius, though.

Yes, Mr. Jerry Brown definitely does not want. But I somehow think "licking butt full of dried poo clean" ranked even higher on his "do not want" list.

Obviously, Oblivion gets a pretty glowing recommendation from this source, but only if you don't have anything important to do for the next, oh...several months. =D

I must agree with your friend Sigma7; Girl in the Fireplace was an awesome episode. Since I had see both Tennant and Eccleston in previous things, I was aware that they were both good actors. Seeing each as the Doctor just added to the reasons that I like them both. Also, the Daleks have been part of the story since it began back in the 1960's as far as I can tell.
Mr. Jerry Brown looked rather un-enthused at being completely wet but probably appreciated the bath all the same.
Glad to see that things are going well for you and yours. :)

Yeah, the fact that he didn't struggle much led me to believe that Mr. Brown probably was happy to not have to lick his poo-encrusted butt clean. =) Doesn't mean he liked getting wet, though.

I'm sure you all will hear my thoughts on "Girl in the Fireplace" once we get there, especially since it comes so highly recommended.

And thanks! I hope things are going better for you too.

If I ever get a WordPress I'm going to have to feel like "A Real Blogger". LJ and WordPress are like the difference between a Journaler and a Journalist.

I think you're hardcore now, Rose.

*laughs* Erm, thanks?

Seriously, WP has some really awesome formatting features. But it seems like for every nifty doodad I find, I bang my head against some other limitation. Plus using said nifty doodads takes a lot of time, especially when you're like me and want to fiddle with it and make it all look *just right* before unleashing your post on an unsuspecting public. Ah, well.

Both of your ownership of the Dr. Who DVDs and the very professional-looking blog. ;)

Professional-looking? Wow, thanks, although I'd think that about three sentences in anyone could tell it's hardly professional. =) Like I said above, the formatting's fun to play with but takes a lot of time to get right, so I don't know how often I'll do picture-posts like that. Can't say as I'm not pleased with the results, though - makes it look much more interesting.

Playing with additional formatting is not my thing... not a big fan of HTML and I prefer WYSIWYG for blogging... it's hard enough to motivate my lazy ass to write anything as it is. Image
