So, I'm thinking that the amount of work involved in moving one's stuff from living unit of assigned size x increases as an exponential function, rather than linear as is traditionally thought.

Which is to say, moving from a five-room apartment is twenty-five times more work than moving from a single dorm room, rather than the more commonly accepted five times.

(Okay, so I don't actually know crap about higher-level math. Feel free to correct my equations.)

I was thinking it worked logarithmically, like decibels or the Richter scale: each room adds an order of magnitude. But it's definitely not a linear progression, y'right.
