Yay audition!

Audition went even better than I expected. PJ (the fabulous - in every sense of the word - artistic director at Perseverance who also taught the first acting class I attended there) was there, and apparently I surprised him - his first reaction after I finished singing was "I didn't know you could sing that well." ("I couldn't, until I started taking voice lessons again.") He then told me that he'd had me in his mind on the back burner for a while, and that he wanted me to do something on the Second Stage this season (Second Stage productions are smaller productions that they do concurrently with the main stage, since they work better in a less flashy and more intimate setting). So he gave me the names of a couple of plays to order and see how I liked them, and asked me to email him with my reactions.

So it looks like I'll have a slightly more interesting winter this time around. =D

I'm working on that. Even went so far as to buy a really super-nice microphone and amplifier at one point, but hooking it all up to my computer's been the tricky part. Might have to wait until I can use Brian's...
