Birthday pampering was awesome. The masseuse over at Seventh Heaven (the local day spa) was kind of shy, but good at his job - I don't know how long it's been since my back has been that relaxed. And Brian and I both noticed that the girl doing pedicures had the most magnificent breasts - well-proportioned, round, and beautifully smooth. (Note that I only say that because she obviously knew it, and was wearing a shirt designed to show them off to maximum advantage. I have to admit, it was rather nice to sit in the chair and think to myself, "I've got absolutely the best view in town, right here...")

Anyway, since I got a new haircut and got all dressed up for dinner, I asked Brian to pull out his Super-Mega-Uber-Ultra-High-Definition camera and take some pictures.

Thanks once more to everyone for their well-wishes! Here's hoping for a most excellent year.

Many happy returns! And did I ever do more than think of sending you your present? (I belive that these photos count as my present...)

I'm not certain. I haven't received one from you, though it's possible that it'd be in transit. (Also, I feel sorta bad...wouldn't that make two presents you've sent me to none I've sent you? I'm not even certain when your birthday is...)

If you haven't received it yet, then I didn't actually send it. It was around the time of The New Job and money was wonky so I was debating holding off a month until cash flow was repaired.
My birthday was Friday before last, and I still consider these pictures to be an excellent present. Especially with that sexy 'hair draped over one eye' thing. (:

Oh, you like that? I'm still not sure how much I like it for everyday...I think it looks kind of neat, but I have to keep fighting the urge to brush it out of my face. =D

No rush, then. I know what it's like to be on a tight cashflow, and it's kind of you to think of me. Besides, it's still my birthday season. ;)

I like it. (: Well. It looks good in photos. And I've seen Johnny Depp rock it full time, but I'm not sure it's practical for real life. Depth perception is a tragic payoff for looking coy. Plus, you can't pretend it's an accident; people who try to play the 'it just fell into my eye' angle end up looking insincere. You've got to go with 'I am hiding behind my hair and wouldn't you like to know what's back here'.

Oh, I figured that last bit just fine. =) Depth perception has never been a huge deal for me, since I have crappy depth perception anyway - I've suspected for a while that I might be one of those people whose brain never figured out how to juxtapose images from both eyes to form a three-dimensional image. About the only time it's been a problem is while driving.

Adam did tell me I looked sort of emo, though...

I think that it would be a very good thing indeed to have depth perception while driving.
And I'm not certain that looking emo might be a higher price to pay than depth perception. Would Adam know these sorts of things?
(PS: It's good to talk to you again.)

You, too. Seems that our schedules for online-ness are pretty diametrically opposed...

And I think I can live with it. He did say that it was cute nonetheless, just that it would take some getting used to.

Hey, I dig [livejournal.com profile] epa_flip's icon.

Happy birthday from Colorado as well. Very cute pictures, miss. Very, ah. Eye-catching, yes. That's the word.
