Medical bills paid. Dentisting bills paid. All together, was about $300 less than expected. Much joy.

Birthday coming up this Sunday. Birthday pampering (massage, pedicure, haircut and dinner for two) coming up Saturday. Super-awesome-nifty birthday present from my mother coming up whenever the Amazon elves deliver it. More books (including the first volume of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, which I've been meaning to get around to reading for a while now) also coming from Amazon elves.

Super-stunning-if-small condo got a $5,500 price drop. Have requested more information from agent, since we devised super-awesome-nifty plan (that unfortunately requires another several thousand dollar investment) to fit theater in small-but-beautiful space. Discussing potential offer with Brian.

Adorable, affectionate small super-fuzzy black-and-white kitty at shelter; has been there since March. May have to keep eye on her and see if she's still there in another couple months.

Anticipation of super-awesome-nifty things is so much fun. =)

Happy birthday! I hope you enjoy the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - I found that to be a gripping tale (even if it made the movie even more unwatchable)

Thanks! I was really disappointed to hear about how bad the movie was - the premise sounded (at the risk of repeating myself) super-awesome-nifty, so you can imagine my relief when I heard that it was adapted from a comic. Even better, a comic by Alan Moore. So I'm looking forward to it.
