missroseroseWhen the makers of a $2000 program refuse to fix a problem that they created and maintained over the course of five years (all the while charging $100 a month for use of said program), you can call up your receptionist and rant for five minutes about it, and she'll understand and agree and be sympathetic.
Poor, poor Brian. I'm really glad I don't have to deal with the same people he deals with on a daily basis.
In other work-related news, I'm thinking about getting a second job. This isn't exactly news, I know, but what with this trip and my inheritance fiasco and the general cost of living in Juneau (especially the kind of lifestyle I enjoy), my reserves are getting drained a lot farther than I would like. I don't have any theatre projects lined up for the next few months and it's not like I do that much in the evenings, anyway, so I figure I'll ask at JoAnn's. Being a retail store, they could probably use someone for evening and weekend hours, and I'd be able to be around fabric and crafty stuff, which would be cool. How long I'd keep the job would depend a lot on how much I liked it and how my schedule worked for the next few months, but it'd certainly be nice to have the extra money in savings. Of course, this is assuming they're hiring and all...
And it's T minus 20 hours until flight...
