Brian and I rang in the new year just now with a traditional smooch, a traditional (if very dry) bottle of champagne, and a traditional making-his-younger-brother-try-said-champagne. I give you his pronouncement, as an inspiration to us all through the year of 2006...

Actually, that should be more like the last pronouncement of 2005. May 2006 be a much better year.

You've never had really good champagne, have you?

That said, I'm tempted to agree about the stuff we had. It wasn't bad with a little sugar or fruit juice added, but alone it was pretty sour.
