Normally when I go to McDonalds and order a fish sandwich, I ask for extra cheese, as someone in the last five years has decided that half a slice of American cheese is enough for one sandwich (something I heartily disagree with, being as I grew up in the whole-slice era of the 90's).

Today, I got a slice and a half!

I rock.

Yay cheese.

One of the few things I refuse to compromise on in my revised food-intake despite what my diet-mad friend tells me. I could say something about needing the valuable calcium contained within, but the fact is I just really fucking like cheese.

That makes two of us. Though oddly enough, I only like American cheese on burgers...can't stand the stuff alone.

I do love various kinds of good cheeses with bread and/or red wine, though. Come to think of it, that'd make an interesting hobby to start - picking out a few of the "specialty" cheeses at the store and trying them with various wines. I seem to be having a lot of food-related inspiration lately.

On a vaguely related note, have you ever tried Snofrisk? Spreadable goatsmilk cheese, hailing from Denmark, I think. Comes in a little triangular container. Ian discovered it at the Safeway in Fairbanks a couple years back, and it was some of the best damn cheese I'd ever had. Haven't been able to find it anywhere around here, though...
