We have gained Dex +1!
Jun. 27th, 2005 05:40 pmBlame Brian, not me. He said it first. And Taktuk would have said it earlier, had he been around.
Yes, we are now the proud parents of a kitty named Dexter. (It didn't take too long to cat-proof the house, so we picked him up early.) He's done some exploring and some hiding under the bed in about equal measures, but he seems to be comfortable enough in his new surroundings. He's actually a pretty compliant kitty - he'll usually come out from under the bed if I poke my head under there and call him, and he hasn't complained or tried scratching or biting anything yet. I suppose time will tell as to his true personality, though. He certainly seems to be enjoying all the attention.
Again, pictures forthcoming as soon as I can find my #@*$ing camera...
And in the meantime, my teeth aren't hurting quite so much. Yesterday and today were supposed to be the worst days, and I've gone a little past the last painkiller wearing off and it's not too bad. Achy, yes, but not horrible. Helps to have something else to focus on, I think.

Awful, but cute. You should have more Percocet. Then again, everyone should have more Percocet. If I could afford it, I'd put it in the water. Or maybe just my water.
