Pending a reference and driving record check, I have a $12/hour summer job. Go me.

Other news likely coming, but not entirely sure as to how solid things are yet, so I'll put details off for now. Suffice it to say it looks like a lot of the loose-end aspects of my life may finally be coming together.

And my first performance is tonight. Anyone who wants to see Rose playing a fourteen year old Catholic girl, silent bank teller, and asshole biker, now's your chance. =)

Hopefully they're coming together in a good way. But it's nice to hear that they're coming together, period.

... *brain shuts down* Blast you for having 2 of your preformances on nights when I've got a class/plans. I *have* to go to the Saturday preformance now, regardless of who I have to slay to get there.

Yes, they're definitely coming together in a good way. I just don't want to get my hopes entirely up, as there are still plenty of things that could go wrong.

*nods* Understandable. Even if things do go wrong, you've got the lot of us to drag you back into good spirits. Kicking and screaming if need be. ^ ^

Different characters. I get to go through a couple of very quick costume changes. Last night when we were rehearsing Sandra skipped a couple of paragraphs in the scene during which I change into the biker outfit...I ended up having to go out as a shoeless biker. Hopefully that won't happen during performances. ;)

As for job-karma...I've found that the best way to do it is to figure out exactly what you want in a job (pay-wise, people-wise, location-wise, etc.) and keep an eye out for what the universe sends your way. I've done that for the last couple of summers and ended up with pretty damn good jobs both times (this one looks damn good, anyway...we'll find out more in a month or so).

Being in Ontario and not having a way to get to Alaska to see the show, any way you can at least post some pics of you in action, if there are pics to be had?

I think the University is videotaping the show for its records, but I have no clue if anyone's taking pictures...I don't think so. I'll have to ask David (the director) what the policy is on them, maybe I can get my boyfriend to take a few while he's watching it. If nothing else I'll try and get some pictures of me in costumes, even though there's nothing really special about them. :)
