I think this article proves the Rule of Numbers pretty much above and beyond all doubt - if you get enough people in any one group (political party, fandom, message board, knitting club) there are going to be idiots in it. Admittedly, these people have more reason than one might think to stay where they're at, but when you've got people in charge on both sides telling you it ain't gonna happen, you might take the clue.

And in a relative non sequitur, one of the funniest headlines I ever saw was on the cover of Utne magazine last summer: "Free Beer! and other ways to put the "party" back in politics..."

Actually... yeah... there were all kinds of "this won't be happening" rumors during the last two movies, and I think the only thing that will get said fans to honestly believe there will be no Ep3 at the Chinese is to have the doors dark and closed on opening night. It'd be a shame though for the run of showings to be broken on the last movie, just for tradition's sake.
