Background info: In Barrow, the temperature is what could be accurately referred to as "fucking freezing your arse off" cold. The ambient temperature might only be a few degrees below zero, but the wind is utterly relentless. Said wind then takes the temperature down to something like 80 degrees below zero - as well as robbing you of any body heat you may have stored as it goes right through your jacket/clothing/skin.

So when I go into the airport after spending approximately 15 seconds walking from the plane to the door in this wind, and see a high-school-age girl I vaguely know wearing a waist-length jacket (not parka - jacket), knee-high boots (not the warm kind, just the stylish leather kind), and a minidress (complete with a foot of exposed skin between the boots and skirt), I believe I'm perfectly justified in tapping her on the shoulder and using a trollprincess quote:

"Hey, Elizabeth. Nobody told me that 'black with frostbite' was the new pink this year."

Sorry. I was always of the opinion that hypothermia-killed corpses weren't particularly sexy, no matter what the clothing attached.

Of course, some people might disagree with me on this fact. =D

I have to agree with you. But I've also learned that there's at least one person that gets off on nearly everything... Hypothermia/frostbite corpeses would defiantely be on the list of ones I just don't get.

Can't agree with you on that... if we brainwashed all the weird people into "normal" behavior, there'd be nobody left. I'm sure I'm on a lot of freak lists, and you probably are too.

no i dont think im normal, normal isnt all its cracked up to be, but concitering how every one else is unfortunatly i fit into the normal catagory, but then there are some real freaks who shouldnt even be breeding, i say either brainwash them or exicute them, time to add some bleach to their gean pool
