It strikes me that, a hundred years ago, standing around talking to someone that only you could hear was considered a sign of insanity. Now, thanks to changing societal standards, it's seen as perfectly normal and even a sign of youth and technological savviness.

However, it still gets you escorted from the building. At least in more well-bred establishments.

I still think people who talk on cell phones in public are insane. Or at the least inconsiderate :) It still wigs me out to pass someone by right when they start talking to someone on a cell phone. "Hey" they say..."Huh?" I say. "oh" I say to myself as I notice the phone.
