According to some random book I picked up while shelving, the ideal Victorian measurements (with corset) was waist 14 inches smaller than the bust and 16 inches smaller than the hips.

...anyone up for helping me train 6 1/2 inches off of my waist? I've even got a corset to do it with. =D

I am naturally resistant to this idea.
But if it's something you actually want....

Eh, not really. Minor corset fetish aside, I don't think it'd look all that great, unless I was wearing the hoopskirts and whatnot to go with it. And as much as I love period costumes and whatnot, I think hauling around 40 pounds of skirtage would get old after a while...

Hmmm...

... that's kinda strange. I also have to say I can't quite visualize you with six-and-a-half inches off of your waist, except in a kind of bizarre and "ketchup-covered WTF?" kind of way.

Now, reply to my e-mail, dammit! (There. I scored one back for all of the times you've told me to do the same. =P)

This post is scarier than the spam post. You're perfect the way you are. Well, maybe you'd be even cooler with heat vision, but I doubt it.

I think the "modern ideal" (or playboy ideal?) is 12"...

But dropping 2" from your waist would probably impact other delicious parts of your anatomy, so I wouldn't recommend it. :-)
