This has to be the FUGLIEST advertisement I've ever seen.

Priceless? I suppose, in a trainwreck sort of way...
EDIT 12:17 PM: While we're on the subject of the fugly, I present to you the unequivicoal worst album cover in the history of hard rock, sent to me courtesy of
eventhewaves.

I mean, seriously. Surrealism and rock music are hardly strangers to each other (look at most of the music videos out there). But this goes beyond the boundaries of surrealism, past the borders of the mighty and vast empire of "Art", and lands right smack in the middle of "bad acid trip" territory. With a nice healthy dose of ketchup-covered "WTF??" on the side.
...mmm, ketchup.

That is indeed an ugly ad and album cover.
Date: 2004-10-25 02:25 am (UTC)The baby is planning something... I know it.
Date: 2004-10-25 11:21 pm (UTC)I'm more worried about the nicely-phallic shape of those horns the people in the background are blowing. I want a banana right now, damnit!
The album art is trippy, but not bad. I mean, the plume isn't pinkish. It's obviously a trick of the light. Still, pirates, plate armor, energy swords, and compact discs? Holy anachronism, Batman! Call Time Squad! Call Marty McFly! Oh, and anyone who thinks music CDs are priceless enough to put in a chest and bury need to rethink their priorities. Limited editions are one thing, but...
Ah well.
