An extra clove of garlic and a good glass of red wine make any meal taste better.*

*There are some exceptions. I'll list them once I think of them. Meantime, feel free to help me out. ;)

Hmmm...

Most breakfasts would not taste better with an extra clove of garlic. Can you comprehend homemade waffles with garlic? Pancakes? French toast? Breakfast burritos?

Dear lord, it would be... it would be... the End Times!*

I've never really found garlic to go well with chocolate ice cream, but that could just be me... (Though I don't drink it, I love the smell of red wine with some dark chocolate)

Amen. Red wine and dark chocolate are one of the things that make life worth living. :)

The motto I end up going with is "If it's not chocolate, it'll probably taste better with garlic." Totally stole that from [livejournal.com profile] taerin.

Hey - In France, during their garlic festival, they eat chocolate covered garlic cloves. I've always wanted to try one of those. :D

Hey, garlic is perfectly fine on breakfast burritos. and with eggs in general. but yes, waffles and pancakes would be a little...nasty with garlic.

Hmm... some sweet things... and garlic goes REALLY well with meat-included waffles.

Garlic doesn't work with…

Actually, it depends on the quantity. Peanut butter can be used in place of peanut oil in a chinese dish, which usually includes garlic. But just plain and together, probably not so good.
