Yay for a few things...
Oct. 1st, 2004 09:58 am--I have a car. =D (And none of you commented on all the pretty in the pictures. =P) She's running fine (all of two days after I bought her); I noticed that the gas gauge has a tendency to be a little wonky when turning, but it doesn't seem to affect performance much. Supposedly I'm covered by GEICO now, but I don't think they've sent me the "You're covered" emails to print out...
--I've noticed that I'm actually going out of my way to get into contact with people. I spent the night here at Ian's with him, Brian, Bethany, and a good bottle of wine...and I actually enjoyed myself immensely. (And no, that wasn't entirely the fault of the wine. =P) Also, when I work at the library, I've started intentionally interacting with the various patrons who come in...I think this is a good sign, all told. Part of the advantages of working through self-hatred issues, I guess.
--Three weeks of once-a-week yoga classes, and I'm actually noting an improvement in physical flexibility. (Which is good, considering that I had to re-learn how to do the splits in three days [after a good few years of not doing them regularly] for an acting class assignment.) I did a few poses this morning, just for fun...it gets the blood flowing pretty well.
--Speaking of acting class, I've started a new journal (
roseneko_arts) as part of the requirement for my acting class. Nothing in there at the moment, but future entries about acting/singing/dancing/etc. will probably go there.
--Getting off the computer before Ian starts glaring...oops, too late.

Date: 2004-10-01 12:09 pm (UTC)Well, I kinda, sorta commented in an IM conversation. Does that count, or do I need to turn back time and comment here, too? =)

Cool to the running-fine part. As for the insurance thing, I'm sure the e-mail will show up one of these days.
