...I'm posting a 30-second clip of myself singing a bit from one of the songs I'm learning. (So what if popular demand only consists of one or two people? I can still dream, can't I? ;)

Apologies for the background whine/general lack of sound quality; I was using a pair of $10 earphones as a microphone. It should, however, give anyone who's curious an idea of what I sound like when I sing.

Thanks go to [personal profile] eventhewaves for the web hosting.

Hear me sing!

Beautiful.

Not that I'm surprised or anything.

Wow, thanks. And here I was hoping for a "That's pretty good", at best. ;)

Nice. What's the song?

I just got a mental image of the musical Cats featuring the character Cats from Zero Wing. It amused me to no end.

"My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose". Scottish folk song. Make a joke and I'll kill you. (Or at least swipe at you with my claws.) ;)

Why would I make it a joke? It amuses me, but only because you planted the seed in my mind. If you hadn't, everything would have been lovely. Ah well. Perhaps someday one of us will learn. It might even be me. Stranger things have happened.
