Recent events and recent linkage
Aug. 2nd, 2004 04:22 pmCongratulate me, everyone: I am officially an eBay virgin no longer. Last night I managed to slog my way through the eBay Sell Item form, and put up my very first item for sale: a set of 14 issues of Star Trek: The Magazine, including the premiere issue. (Thanks go to
eventhewaves for putting together the HTML, as my coding skills are somewhat rudimentary.) I gave it three days and a set price of $50; if anyone's interested in taking them off my hands, the link is here. If nobody buys 'em, though, I'll probably just toss them in the garbage; half of them I never even read, and I don't particularly want to haul them all the way to Juneau to sit on a shelf and collect dust. Ah, well.
In other news, Diane (my stalker) appears to be back, doing more survey work up here. When I mentioned how disappointed I was that she never called me last time, she promised to do so, and we even have a vague plan to go to dinner at Osaka's sometime over the next week (she leaves the day after I do). Here's hoping she actually does. *hopefulhappydance*
And...yeah. That's pretty much it for now. Updates promised if anything interesting happens. =)
EDIT: EBay link fixed.

Date: 2004-08-02 06:48 pm (UTC)Your ebay link doesn't work, even thoughj I have no desire for the Trekkie magazines.
Speaking of Trek, which one did you prefer? I was a DS9er, though I find Farscape and sometimes a little B5 were better

Date: 2004-08-04 12:42 am (UTC)I missed one fun gathering of bloggers in Boston on Sunday because I wasn't quite thorough enough about keeping people in touch... but did take care of it soon enough after that to have a couple more fun days in Boston. That included some fun copyright discussion with a librarian who really should be considered as a model for the librarian action figure doll mark 2.
