Nights where one simply cannot sleep are uncool.
No caffiene involved. No fathomable reason. I just could. not. sleep.
However, having an equally insomniac brother to keep one company during such bouts is slightly more cool.
Having to walk across town to see said brother, especially when the wind has changed direction and is blowing against the direction you intend to walk, is less cool.
Walking across town when it's actually raining for the first time in God-knows-how-long is more cool.
Walking across town at 3:30 AM, in the rain, and having it be perfectly light out is actually kind of fun.
And waking up the next morning equally non-sleepy (if somewhat tired) is something of a consolation prize...
