Strange weather...
Jun. 17th, 2004 12:47 pmYahoo! Weather had forecasted a high of 53 degrees today.
It's currently about 60.
And that's out of the sun.
The wind, which usually comes right off the sea ice and is therefore freezing cold, has switched directions today and is warm.
Plus it's actually humid. In a place that, in terms of humidity, usually qualifies as a desert.
I've heard thunderstorms are predicted for later today...
And the ice on the ocean is quickly turning into slush.
It's either the end of the world, global warming at work, or just a really damn nice day out.
Either way, it's too bloody warm to move...

Date: 2004-06-18 07:50 am (UTC)We had a brief rain shower at work, and as soon as it stopped, clouds of steam were rising off the super-heated blacktop.
And it hasn't even gotten HOT yet.
If you ever need to visit the deep south, make sure it's winter. [grin]
