Mar. 18th, 2004 11:44 amPhilly Steak & Cheese Croissant Pockets. I think I may have a new favorite quick-food.
Immunization records have apparently not gotten here, so after Brit Lit I'm going to go down to the housing office and probably end up calling UAF Health & Counseling again to see what's going on.
The good news is that I turned in my application, hiked up to the housing area and talked to the director about apartment placement. Assuming I can get everything sorted out, I should be able to move in tomorrow and/or Saturday. Lovely apartments; the whole complex is quite nice, as well as scenic - with the sunshine, it looked rather like some of the nicer apartment complexes I saw on the California coast.
The bad news is that I hiked up to the housing area. Beautiful hike, even though the entire thing is tilted at a 45 FREAKING DEGREE ANGLE. Not fun to walk up with a 15+ pound backpack...though it did make me realize exactly how little hiking I've been doing since I learned to drive. My shoulders are going to be sore...

Awesome. Much luck to you with getting everything sorted out... And much luck in getting the damn camera cord, too. =)

Heh. Shame you can't give yourself a good shoulder rub...
As for walking angles, that's a pretty massive slant to take on with fifteen pounds of books in tow. Forty-five degrees? Yeesh.
