Plans...

Countdown to Los Angeles: Three days.

Current plans include: lots of shopping; driving to San Fran for an overnight trip (hopefully crashing at my one-time roommate's, since she (I think) lives nearby); teaching eventhewaves how to do the foxtrot, the merengue, and maybe a bit of waltz; thrift-store surfing; driving across the Golden Gate bridge at least once; going to see a show or two; and whatever else we can pack in to a week. Oh, and dragging eventhewaves along for most (if not all) of this.

Sorry, Brian. For this week, you're going to have a life whether you like it or not. =)

Even though I've always loved dancing, I actually didn't know how to do anything formal until this semester - advantages to finally finding a boyfriend who's willing to take a ballroom dance class with you.

If I'm here next semester, I'm actually going to be tempted to take it again with a female friend - I want a turn leading, dammit! =)

Actually, sad as it is, we're halfway through the semester and I don't know the dance teacher's name. Aging Hell's Angel, covered in tattoos, long hair, exuberant?

And the contra dancers aren't that bad. I should know, I am one. =P

And not all the Contra Dancers are all that bad, just some of them. Unfortunatly, the bad ones ruin it for everyone else.
