It's an interesting feeling when you spend some time with someone you were once in love with, and they say something that suddenly reminds you of one of the reasons why you broke up with them. Sort of a vindictive pleasure...but bittersweet nonetheless.

It's a less interesting feeling when you say something petty and hurtful in return. Just plain shame, with a healthy dose of guilt on the side.

And here I was so proud of myself for causing a minimum of emotional pain to people recently. Sheesh.

I take it your no longer proud of your ability to crush your enemies?

No. I'm ashamed at who I treat as my enemies.

If you have to, think that practice is necessary? :P:D

Did you love to give pain at one time? Why?
