The feeling of suddenly being a rather low priority in a person's life is never easy to deal with. Said feeling is worse when it's somebody who you care about a lot. Said feeling is even worse when you come from a family with abandonment issues and you're approximately three days from your period.
Hormones, genetics, and other people. The three things Americans like to blame all their emotional problems on.
And the neighbors playing loud music downstairs to the point where I can't make out Natalie Merchant isn't helping. I think it's time to play DDR at full blast. Over their living room. Ah, sweet revenge...it doesn't help jack shit, but it sure makes you feel better for a while.

Having said all of that, there's also a reason why you see that stuff pop up a whole lot -- they really are three of the big causes of emotional turmoil.

It certainly can. Anyway... did I have a point other than poorly-expressed concern? Hmmm. Just the usual, "Yeah, I'm going to be around for hours yet, so if you need somebody to talk to, just holler like Hell."
