Feeling somewhat more calm now, though not as hopeful as I was this morning...so it goes, with emotional trauma. I'm really starting to hate my tendency to create soap operas out of my life...is it possible for me to go a week without being "extremely" anything (happy, depressed, angry, annoyed)? I wonder if I qualify for histrionic personality disorder?

Anyway, my life being as chaotic as it is at the moment, I've created a new icon for it...that, and to celebrate the fact that the "Firefly" DVD's are going to be coming out in less than a month. Eventually I hope to have one for each crew member, though I'd have to actually pay for my account to use them all here. That, and it's going to be tough to find a single word to describe each character, considering that they're all very well-developed and therefore complex. However, I've already covered that aptly...

Am done being narcissistic and self-congratulatory. To steal my friend's line, carry on.

Good to know that you're feeling calmer now, although I think was around when the shift started, so I'd already guessed that. =) As for the rest of the emotional stuff -- I don't know enough about what's currently going on to be able to offer any useful advice at all except stuff that'd sound really patronizing. But I'll be available literall all week if you happen to ever need somebody to whomp into submission at Literati.

The icon's cool. The idea's cool. Stick with it as far as you can, as long as you can keep coming up with adjectives to describe everybody. I'd go with "sexy" for Inara, but -- then -- you've already heard my opinion about her, haven't you? =) Mmmm. Just one more reason to buy the "Firefly" DVD set, right there.

And if online journals aren't for being narcissistic and self-congratulatory, than what exactly are they for?
