A lovely snowfall outside the library windows today. The flakes have gone from big, wet and fluffy to somewhat smaller and more powdery, but they are still falling steadily. Theory - even though it is an inconvenience in that it's wet, slows down traffic, makes accidents more likely, etc., everybody likes snow because they were conditioned in their school days to sit for hours at the window, willing enough snow to fall to close schools the next day. Which is why those who grew up in someplace without snow and later move to snowy climates simply find it annoying.

Or maybe there's just something inherently peaceful about watching the flakes gather so quietly. *shrug*

Either way, I'm glad I work in a place that has visible picture windows...

Lucky thou. Its all melting here on the other end of town... but there are some damn beautiful pics across the Channel. Camera battery is halfcharged, going to score some imagery ASAP.

snow is natures most wonderfull creation..we don't get enough in the uk..you are so lucky to live where you do...........don't keep the snow shots to your self...share them with everyone..:)
