missroserose | On the upswing again...

Emotions have once again subsided to a manageable level, and while I'm sure I haven't gone through my last tearfully sentimental phase, I'm feeling a helluva lot better for the moment. A lot of it had to do with going out Contra dancing with Ryan last night - he wore a white tux, I wore this gorgeous plum-colored dress Ian bought me a couple weeks ago, and we both wore animal ears (me cat, him rabbit). I guess we were prom dates from the "Kevin & Kell" universe or something. Anyway, it was nice to be admired by everyone, and I also met a guy named Pete who was fun to talk to. Gave him my phone number, I guess we'll see if he's brave enough to actually call me. =)

Am currently at work, and the library looks excellently spooky. I'm not quite sure what my favorite decorations are - it's a tossup between the bodies hanging from the rafters (complete with signs saying "Too many overdue fines...oh, if only) and my boss's costume - she dressed up as Bride of Frankenstein, complete with long gown and hair sticking straight out back. I don't envy her the shower she's going to have to take when she gets home, though...
