Which is worse...
Oct. 8th, 2003 10:23 am...a day when you wake up and want to get going and accomplish things but can't because your body is too bloody sick to move? Or a day when you wake up and feel perfectly fine physically but it all seems so pointless that you don't want to get out of bed?
Having experienced both in the last week, I'm rapidly beginning to think it's the latter. When your body is sick but you still want to do things, life still seems worthwhile. You've just temporarily lost your ability to do anything about it (unless you really drive yourself - mind over matter and all that). Unfortunately, when the matter is fine but your mind has gone on vacation, you're kind of screwed.
On the plus side, I managed to pick up a copy of "The Producers" on DVD for $5, along with "A Fish Called Wanda" (also for $5). Gotta love buy-one-get-one-free sales.
Quote for the day (also from "The Producers"): "Shut up! I'm having a rhetorical conversation!" --Max Bialystock

Date: 2003-10-08 10:41 pm (UTC)I defiantly think that not having the mental energy, or drive to get up is worse. Strange, but the longing can heart more. I am remembering long ago, at least it seams long ago, when I use to feel that I would never love again. I have Squeek for company, she rarely helps get me up when I don't want to, but by sitting with me and purring it makes it more bearable.
I was reading Heardthinner.com and I love the fortune cookies, the best one I remember today is, "Falling in love is like dieing, you don't do ether enough to get good at them."
So true I wonder why I have the right to feel happy again, to find you seams like a dream...
I completely disagree about the Blair Witch Project. In this case I think that the american public, or at least the critics who influence them saw something good in the Movie. I liked some things about the "Blair" movie, namely the way they took a simple idea, minimal script, no budget and made an entertaining Ghost story of it. I know the film wasn't exceptional, but I think it was bettor than most big budget teen horror films created today. I also thought that is was the novelty of it that helped it do well once some one said, "Hay this is pretty good!" Then the stupid easily led americans with a taste for something different flocked to the theater to be entertained. Some where, other just went along because they didn't have the back bone to say they thought it sucked because they thought it would make them seam to be "un-hip," or lacking in artistic judgment.
Some times I think you think about life and stupidity to much, but thats why I love you. It is great to be abel to disagree some times.
Love!...
(if you don't know who I am then you haven't read enough of Rose's Bloog) only 25 minutes to Spell-check today!
Actually...
