A paraphrased conversation
Oct. 15th, 2012 08:26 amWhilst discussing transportation arrangements if we lived somewhere like Boston with excellent public transit:
Brian: I was thinking it would probably make the most sense to sell the car and just get a small truck, like an older Tacoma or Ranger or something. Then we'd have it if we needed to haul something, and we could just leave it parked the rest of the time.
Me: That's not a bad idea, but people with trucks are pretty unusual in East Coast cities. Do you realize how often people would be asking us to help them move?
Brian: Do you realize how constantly full of good beer our fridge would be?
Me: ...point.
