missroserose | Hooray for Alaska weather

Three-day weekend full of snowstorms. This morning it's melty and slushy and rainy and disgusting. And I had thirty-two messages on my phone. Awesome.

Some highlights:

The dude who claims to be looking for "someone at the city with the balls to pick up their phone", because he keeps getting voicemail and "call another number" messages, and someone from this number needs to call him back right now. Apparently nobody explained to him that city offices are closed on the weekend...
A woman who calls demanding to know why she hasn't seen any of our plow trucks out working (...maybe she's blind?) and yells for about five minutes about how we need to get our act together before telling us she's Very Angry about how we never called her back when she left a message last week. And then hangs up. Without leaving a name or number. Ah well. Somehow I doubt anyone would have wanted to talk to her anyway.

And off I go to burrow into the heap again...
