Which is worse...
Oct. 8th, 2003 10:23 am...a day when you wake up and want to get going and accomplish things but can't because your body is too bloody sick to move? Or a day when you wake up and feel perfectly fine physically but it all seems so pointless that you don't want to get out of bed?
Having experienced both in the last week, I'm rapidly beginning to think it's the latter. When your body is sick but you still want to do things, life still seems worthwhile. You've just temporarily lost your ability to do anything about it (unless you really drive yourself - mind over matter and all that). Unfortunately, when the matter is fine but your mind has gone on vacation, you're kind of screwed.
On the plus side, I managed to pick up a copy of "The Producers" on DVD for $5, along with "A Fish Called Wanda" (also for $5). Gotta love buy-one-get-one-free sales.
Quote for the day (also from "The Producers"): "Shut up! I'm having a rhetorical conversation!" --Max Bialystock
