The little bird said, "Cheap! Cheap!"
Feb. 25th, 2004 12:24 amSo I got this new "massage wand" down at Xandi's (local sex toy shop) the other day, and it's fairly cool - basic variable-speed vibrator, but better made and more powerful than my last one. And best of all, it's purple.
I read the box (I'm one of those freaky people who reads everything) and it says "Clean vibrator with alcohol after use." So, naturally, I do so.
And the purple coloring came right off along with the alcohol.
The most annoying part is, the vibrator still works fine. I'd be able to be justifiably pissed if the entire outer layer had dissolved or some such, but it seems to be a fairly sturdy product. So I still have a decent vibrator, it's just silver now instead of purple.
Message to all manufacturers out there: IF YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE A GOOD PRODUCT, MAKE IT A *GOOD* PRODUCT. ALL THE WAY THROUGH. PLEASE.
