Jul. 15th, 2004 11:15 pmI am now 21 years old.
I feel like I should have some sort of philosophical/theological insight, though quite honestly I see nothing particular about this age that sets it apart from any other, aside from a rather arbitrary American law that most people don't go out of their way to obey. But it's nice to know that I'm legally an adult in all senses.
I do feel somewhat apprehensive about the future. Admittedly I've got another two, or more likely three years of college before I'll have a degree of some sort, but that doesn't seem so far off any more. And I still don't know what it is I'll be doing after that, or where the money to do it with will come from.
I suppose I'll have to trust in that youthful naïveté so renowned in people of my age:
I'm finally 21. I rule!
