Soldiers of which?

missroseroseMost of my family, as I'm sure I've mentioned before, is Mormon (or a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, to be PC about it). Currently, one of my cousins is on a mission in Germany. This is from his latest letter to family:
Had an interesting contact experience with a Muslim man.... went something like this:
>Hey we are from The Church of Jesus Christ of-
>I know who you are.... you are a soldier of Jesus. I am a soldier of Mohommad. We will one day face each other.... in the field of mortal combat.
>Oh.... I see...
>But, that day is not today.
>Oh good. That joys me.
As a self-identified religious independent, that exchange just amuses the heck out of me. Some of that probably comes from the fact that everything I remember about my cousin (which, admittedly, is from when we were kids) was how sweet and funny he was - imagining him facing anyone on the field of mortal combat is kind of hilarious. But then, maybe I'm just strange...
