I finished the homework for one of my classes this morning.

Completed assignments are good.

I ordered a refurbished Palm Tungsten E for $130, a pretty good buy since they usually run about $200.

Discounted computers are good.

I went to talk to Cha about the scratch on David's van, and while she remains convinced that it was my fault (and who knows, maybe it was), they're not going to get it fixed because it'd probably cost more than the van's worth, and she knows that I can't afford it anyway. We ended up settling my conscience by dropping the $83 she still owed me for housekeeping, though as she proceeded to give me one of her new glass hearts (she's made some really pretty ones with pink flowers on them), which she usually sells for $100+, I'm not sure that we're exactly even. But hey, it's good advertising for her, and I love the heart necklace. I'll have to find some matching earrings, and put up some pictures when I get my camera back...

People who are both forgiving and generous are good.

I also spent about half an hour walking about with Ian while we ran errands and bought lunch. We managed to talk about our respective lives without causing each other undue emotional stress, and parted on good terms. I have experienced little of the usual regret, anger, or other emotions that usually come up when he's around.

Positive relationships with ex-boyfriends are good.

The weather has been somewhat odd (mixed rain and snow), but the view this afternoon out the library windows was gorgeous - the sun came out for a bit and illuminated the cedar forest, and (combined with the green grass) it almost looked like summer, minus the patches of snow here and there.

Having a happy spirit because you live in a beautiful place is good.

I think I'm going to go by the Nugget Mall today and ask at Claire's about getting an earring for the upper cartilage in my ear.

Looking at life with an adventurous spirit is good.
