New girly things!

missroseroseI just came back from a grocery run where I spent almost $65 on materials of no particular nutritional or practical value. Something about this amuses me greatly. Fortunately, everything purchased is of recreational value, or else I would have to start seriously questioning my sanity.
The bulk of the purchases were makeup-related. I was sifting through my makeup basket the other day when I realized that almost all of my makeup varies from a couple to five years old, and is a little worse for the wear as a result. So, since today was payday (largest one of the year, yay!), I decided to see what I could find for replacements.
On a tangentially related note, why is it that a good 90% of the lipsticks I buy have the word "Rose" in the title? (Today's were Ginger Rose and Teak Rose, incidentally.)
Also, since Brian wasn't here to shoot me dirty looks, I bought myself a huge bag of Tim's Cascade Style jalapeno chips. I don't even know why I like them as much as I do (Brian's tried his best and never been able to), but hey - they're yummy.
