Idjit brother
Jul. 22nd, 2006 11:06 pmSo...my idiot younger brother is in trouble. Again.
Apparently he's recently totalled his car in an attempt to avoid hitting a deer. He's not hurt, but both of his jobs are car-dependent so he's in a bit of a fix.
Admittedly, I'm hearing this secondhand from my mother, but it sounds like his real problem is mental more than anything. He's just so caught up in his victim mentality that he doesn't want to make things any better for himself - he just keeps getting into one situation after another and going "Why me?" He can't even come back to Alaska pending the outcome of a court hearing (not as bad as it sounds, but a long enough story I'm not going to get into it here). Oh, and apparently he now has four cats, none of whom (I'm guessing) are spayed or neutered, or even properly fed.
*headdesk*
If I thought it'd do any good, I'd call him up and offer to help him out. But the problem is, it wouldn't and won't do any good until he gets his head out of his arse and starts wanting things to be better. Right now he's so caught up in his "I'm too scared to be responsible for myself" mentality, he'll just get himself into another situation.
Anyone want a slightly damaged wild-child 20-year-old younger brother? I've got one I can sell, cheap...
