missroseroseCan't seem to wake up this morning. Am doing my best to resist the siren call of various stimulants.
Still sunny, which is nice. Supposed to cloud over later, which is not so nice but also a relief. It's been way too darn hot for Alaska the last few days.
Mr. Jerry Brown's been driving us bonkers the last couple days. We bought him a harness and a leash, foolishly thinking that he might be grateful for a little time outside in the sun. Unfortunately, he would make a beeline for whichever neighbor's property was nearest, and when we brought him inside for fighting the leash, he would yowl. And yowl. And yowl. I swear, you'd think we were serving tenderized and flambéd cat, the way our place has sounded lately. Fortunately he knocked it off last night enough for us to get some sleep. (A little, anyway.) Somehow, I can't see any more trips outside in his near future. Oh, well...it's supposed to start raining again soon, which might dampen his enthusiasm a bit.
I should do some actual work. Really, I should. Now if I can just wake up a bit more...
