Audition set for Saturday at noon. I'll probably be the first one going. Which is what I'd prefer, actually - people are subject to the serial positioning effect, which basically means they're much more likely to remember the first and last of any given list/group than those in the middle. So going first is a definite advantage.
Now to get a performance ready that'll hold up in their minds through four hours of auditions...I'm kind of torn between doing a piece from the show (which they'll probably get to hear about 50 times that day) and getting the sheet music for "If You've Got It, Flaunt It" - Uula's number from The Producers. I'm not sure that the latter would be in line with the spirit of the thing, but it'd be a helluva lot of fun.
Suggestions?
